Rina grinned in response after she finished patting his shoulder. "Yeah! See? 'Future Content Sense!'"
As Doku spoke about his treasure ability and his tendency to rush right for it, the redhead chimed in, "Yeah, ...and to just... not rush in at all. That'd work, too," agreeing and adding on as the more cautious of the two. She was reaching for more grapes as he then brought up re-collecting their un-gained equipment. "! Awesomes! Well, I'm super weak, so I'll need the defense sooner rather than later." She happily followed along behind Doku as they travelled towards the outcove(sp?) near the volcano, keeping an eye on the surroundings as they go.
Along the journey, they spoke again of the sword that was in the volcano area. Doku mentioned how different his playstyle would be if he were doing a solo run. Thankfully for Rina, he seemed to understand the difference between that and this run. They can definitely wait and work their levels up to be able to fight for that weapon (that'll probably be surpassed by something else not too long after). "H'Yeah. I think that's a good idea, champ: when we're good and ready!"
Not more than a minute later, a faint sound caught Rina's ear, "Hm? ...? ...." but she couldn't place it, looking around in the boy's direction as it seemed to come from over there. Good thing there didn't seem to be any monsters in plain sight. She'd soon have her answer, though, when the Silvolver teen pulled out his pocketed phone. "! Oh, phone," she muttered aloud, going back to eyeing the game. Hearing that it was Doku's sister, however, caught her attention again.
"Oh, it's her? Okay." While he was checking his phone, Rina continued looking around on the game screen, making sure to avoid enemy eyesight while Doku was preoccupied, not wanting to be thrown into a battle with herself as the only fighter - while having to protect Doku as well. She didn't do much, but she was distractingly curious about to text and why his sister was calling. Was it just a hello sort of message? Maybe she was passing along a message from their parents; who knew? Rina also thought back to when she and Doku were in the one shop and Doku brought his sister into the conversation, claiming that a manga he was... inspecting for appropriateness... was among those of his sister's tastes - which was a lie he corrected promptly. Rina now wondered what the girl is actually like.
Hearing it was about an appointment that his sister had, Rina pondered on what it was for - but she wasn't going to pry, ...at least, not directly. "Yeah?" was her response. But then a delayed thought rose to the surface of her mind as she sat up a bit with her eyes on the screen for the most part.
"---. Wait: pick her up?"

Doku would once again get a bit embarrassed as Rina told him not to rush ahead. He was hoping they'd all just forget that... "Yeah, you do more damage than me though. I dodge tank more than anything." He explained. "I kinda regret not picking fighter- I would have been bulkier and stronger..." He tapped his chin. "But hey, we wouldn't have as much loot without my thief skills!"
Champ... Doku wasn't expecting THAT nickname, but hey he was having fun. Doku set the controller down. As he focused on his phone, he made sure to move his character behind a rock and crouch, now hopefully that keep some enemies from attacking out of nowhere.
"Oh!" Doku had just realized he never told Rina about his sister. Usually, he kept it secret, but he trusted Rina, and besides, it is hard to lie his way out of this. "Well, she has a weak immune system... Like really weak, so she goes to get treatment every month." He told her. "She likes me to take her, we get lunch after and everything. Brother Sister day she calls it..." He looked down, cracking a soft smile, feeling a little bittersweet. "She's going early in the morning but we're gonna plan some fun things and stuff." He paused. "Yuki is... super energetic, you wouldn't think she's sick just looking at her, she doesn't let it affect her much..." He cracked a little smile. "You'd probably like her, she's always just... smiling."

"Yeah, that's true," Rina replied regarding damage output and the treasure benefits of having the thief's skills.
But after the text message, Rina's facial expression softened and took on more of a worried or concerned gaze. "...Oh no..." she softly interjected after hearing about the sister's weak immune system. Rina had only heard about such a thing once before, and it would always be a rough thing to hear, now that she somewhat gets what it means. At that point, her attention was almost entirely on Doku. As he explained his sister's situation, and how they spend their time together during those scary appointment days, Rina felt a bit of emotion seeping through her system. Yuki is apparently her name and according to Doku, she's really energetic. Just as her game partner explained it, Rina would never think that such a person would have any major weaknesses like that - or anything, really.
A faint smile surfaced. "I probably would.... ...Yuki.... She a really strong girl, huh...?" Rina then nodded to herself for a moment. "I mean..., if I was in her situation, I don't even know for sure if I could keep smiling like that.... ...I can't even imagine what life would be like...." The redhead took a moment in silence to try and imagine such a scenario. It was difficult; all she could imagine was herself gaming.... She couldn't imagine herself playing sports of any kind. Would she even duel? Who knows? Her mind stagnated on those thoughts as she let the silence on her end linger.

Doku noticed the worried expression that Rina had, he felt bad for making her worry like that. However, he was glad she seemed concerned, it meant Rina really was his friend, at least in his eyes. "Yep! She's super friendly like you, to be honest, we didn't have a lot of friends when we were young since I spent most of my time inside with her, but she was like... my best friend." He laughed. "But she'd try and make friends with anyone, come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen her angry." He explained more about his sister to his friend.
"Mhm, She loves going to the movies and all that, but staying outside for long periods of time is risky, but she doesn't seem to care." He chuckled. "I have to remind her that she can't just go out like that!" The boy would say, pulling out his phone yet again, quickly turning it to show Rina a picture of his sister. A short girl with pale skin and short purple hair. She had a smile in every picture Doku showed.
"Hey uh- You think we should eat?" He chuckled. "I can go ahead and order some pizza!" He looked at the clock on his computer. He was curious if Rina was about ready to get some lunch.

As Doku laughed, the orange-haired teen thought to herself "Those two really are close...." A small part of Rina was almost envious of the sibling friendship between them. In a brief flash of thought, her own siblings came to mind; her brothers - all older than her.
"Hm," was her response to Doku saying that he couldn't recall ever seeing her angry. Her eyes shifted as she began to think on that, but her focus on her friend returned only a few seconds later as he spoke. The Legold girl then raised a brow and stifled a chuckle with the boy at Yuki wanting to go to movie theaters, a little amused at her carelessness despite it all. He noted that he had to remind her against it, to which Rina nodded solemnly, righting her mood. "Mm. ...Sounds rough... on both sides.... But yeah: there're germs 'n' messes all over in places like that. ...." She thought to herself for a second....
Before long, Rina was shown a few pictures of Yuki, who was a cute, smiling girl, and while she was a little on the pale side, she definitely didn't look all that frail in Rina's eyes. "Aww, she's cute...!" After a few seconds of gazing at the pictures, Rina then asked what was on her mind. "So what do you guys do about the movie stuff?"
Later, when Doku asked about food, a simple answer popped into the air. "! Sure...!" With the specification of pizza, she added "Mmm, pizza...!" remembering that he did say he'd probably order some. Rina let the host do his hosting thing. She also figured by the time the pizza arrives, she'd probably be ready for something a bit heavier to eat, anyway. Not currently aware of anything she actually hated on pizza, the redhead was of the mind to have some of whatever he would order; unless he asks her anything, she wouldn't think twice on it. When the young man looked over at the clock, so did she out of curiosity. It was probably close to a good time to break and eat. The grapes were practically done now aside from two, and the lass didn't want to be the one to finish them, ...so they sat there as her sights returned to the game screen for a bit.

Doku would nod his head, before chuckling. "Yeah... germs are pretty nasty towards her" the purple-haired boy would rub his arm slightly. "When we go out, I try and sit as far from people as we can, and sanitize!" The pointed to a large bottle of hand sanatizer on his dresser. "Funny thing is, she really isn't a germaphobe, but I really am when I hang out with her!" Doku would explain. "I gotta be the protective brother," He shook his head a little bit. "Well, I learned that from my mom." His ever present smile would slip... merging into a frown. "Annnd my therapist." That... was new information. Therapy? "But yeah, I love Yuki a lot. Though sometimes she can be... embarrassing." He trailed off into a story. "So... I took this girl out to dinner at my house and... well Yuki told her some... embarrassing things about my past!" Nothing Rina would get, Doku's deepest darkest secrets couldn't be pryed out of him! The red-head would need to kill him first.
Doku stood up rather quickly, before pulling up the pizza website. Shit... what was Doku gonna order?! It wasn't something he thought about BUT if he ordered the wrong kind of pizza their hang out session would go sour! Shit, think Doku think! What was he going order... Pineapple pizza?! No... that would burn the friendship down instantly. Well... he finally ordered the food, a large pepperoni! Wait... what if she was a vegetarian? Well... she could pick off the pepperoni!
After that panic inducing choice was done with. Doku would return to his chair as a puff of air escaped his mouth. "I payed for the express delivery... Pizza takes way to damn long sometimes so. It should be here in 15 minutes."
"Well. Uh..." Doku tried to make small talk! God he sucked at that, it was pretty apparent he didn't have a whole lot of friends. "You got any siblings?" He asked, keeping his eyes on Rina, rather curious.

Hearing about Doku becoming a germaphobe was hard. She could imagine it, but it hurt her to do so; the thought of it gnawed on her neck, subconsciously. "That sucks...," she replied, with Doku shaking his head and defending it, as he has to be the one to look out for Yuki's health and safety. It was totally understandable. It made sense to the redhead right up until he brought up a therapist.
"---." Rina blinked once; her mind lingered on that thought while Doku continued to explain his sibling relationship. He mentioned Yuki being embarrassing at times, which was yet another thought to get hung up on. Unfortunately, it was one too many things for her mind to balance above the surface, so she chucked aside the thought boulder of the therapist in order to catch hold of the 'embarrassing' boulder. Rina's attention was piqued. She visibly turned to attention once he sounded like a story was about to be told. ...It was short, but interesting nonetheless... and just to be a bit of a jerk in the moment, she was gonna faux-ask about it.
"Like wha---?" but just as the question was coming out, Doku brought up eating via ordering pizza. Rina agreed to it. He quickly stood up and began the process of ordering. As that was going on, Rina's eyes returned to the gaming screen, though her mind wandered a little, leaving a trail of thought fragments behind as she wondered what Doku's embarrassing stuff could be.
When the Silvolver was done, he let her know that the pizza would be about 15 minutes. Rina shrugged it off. "That's fine. My dad's always saying 'you can't rush quality work,' so I can wait." Doku then stalled, like he was about to say something. "...?" Rina waited to hear what it was. It wasn't what she was expecting but it wasn't like it was out of the blue or anything. Did she have any siblings? "Yup...! I've got three, even; all older brothers...! ...They're alright, I guess." said with a healthy dose of familial fondness. "Nothing to write home about, though.... ...But enough about them; back to the real topic, here:" She was holding this in for a while, now. "You had a girl over at your place for dinner?? How did that happen...?" Elbows propped up on her lap, she laced up her fingers, providing a net for her chin to rest upon.

With a nod, the purple-haired boy would let out a soft sigh, giving Rina a quick glance. Before thinking more about his sister and her condition. "Yeah, but as long as she's happy, I'm good!" He would explain to Rina, letting out a soft yawn.
Doku would listen to Rina, three older brothers? Damn, he could only imagine how that went. "Three!? Damn, though that does explain you're more tomboy nature" Was tomboy the right word? Eh. It seemed like Rina didn't have much to say about her brothers... weird. Doku being so family-focused since he was a kid, he thought you were supposed to do everything with them.
Doku's cheeks turned bright red as Rina asked how he got a girl over. "Wh-What's THAT supposed to mean?!" Well, he then just decided to look back at Rina, deciding to answer her. "This girl came to work, I got her number, asked her out, decided it be a good idea to take her home." He let out a chuckle while it was embarrassing it was a rather fun memory. He pulled out his phone and showed Rina the most recent text from the girl in question, it was a text that said, "Yeah, sorry I'll be busy for the next few days- haha, I'll text you when I'm back!" This was 3 months ago! Surely he'd get a message back any day. "So, yeah since then, I've made sure to keep Yuki away from girls I like!"
Next, they heard a knock at his door. Doku expected the pizza, as he opened the door, a short purple-haired girl would slide in through the open door, inviting herself into the room. It was Yuki! To be honest, Doku was glad to have the surprise guest. WAIT, RINA WAS HERE! PLEASE DON'T EMBARRASS HIM.
Yuki didn't notice Rina at first, Yuki had a medium-sized delivery box in her right hand. "Doku, make sure you send your anime tit mousepad to the right address next time." She placed it on his dresser and then turned to him. "Also, I think one of your pervy manga is in there as well"
Doku's entire face was heated up, she really looked at what he ordered, he thought he'd be the only one who'd see it!
With another sigh, Yuki turned to spot Rina, a devious smirk forming as she once again looked towards Rina. "Woah! Am I interrupting one of your weird dates Doku?" She cautiously asked. "I'm his little sister, Yuki, Just don't look under his bed! It's full of-" Before she could finish her statement, her brother's mouth covered her mouth. Yuki appeared to be laughing behind her brother's hand.
Was she REALLY sickly? She was acting so energetic. "I swear to God..." He mumbled.

A Tomboy? "...?!?" She hastily raised a brow and glared at Doku for a second. Though, a second was enough time to actually think about it on a surface level, which she had never done before. She glanced away for a quick moment with an equally quick thought. "Wait, am I really a tomboy?" Quickly, "Egh," Rina audibly seemed to shrug the thought off for the moment - as, regardless, she is who she is; just never really thought about it, but knows what it means, generally speaking. And now, she could see some similarities fairly quickly since it's been brought to her attention.
"Nothing to write home about[...]" She then switched over to the topic of Doku inviting a girl home. However, try as she might to distract herself from the earlier thought, she couldn't completely shake it. So as it waded in the sea of thought, Rina tried to focus more on Doku's quick pick-up girl - but that, in itself, was a whole other curious thing to dig into!
Double-take-n aback, Rina responded "!! ---Whoa, wait wait wait! On the first date!? ...That was fast...! ...Okay, so... Yuki got involved; what happened after that? Did she just ghost you?" Doku showed Rina the text message. "! Oooh.... ---! Oh, that was three months ago!" The boy then expressed the lesson he learned going forward. "No one shall pass! Yuki has spoken! So! ---" Rina held up an invisible microphone to her lips. Before she could say anything, a knock on the door occurred. "That was fast." Rina's mind also intuitively jumped to the pizza being here. But as Doku went to get the door, a realistic realization came to mind, as well, as she glanced at whatever clock Doku had in visible sight, if any. "Wait, would the pizza man find this place already?" She assumed the pizza man would have to walk around a bit before finding this dorm and room; that would explain Doku's complaint about the pizza's taking a while to get here. Was this a pizza man who had served Doku before? Only that would explain them being here so fast.
After Doku opened the door, a box with arms and legs entered the room. Very clearly, it wasn't the pizza guy - especially after she mentioned an anime booba mousepad. The redhead kept quiet, listened, and observed the girl's actions; in her mind, a grin spread across her frontal lobe. "Wow.... TMI in about ten seconds." Rina's curiosity was only satisfied once she got a visual on the girl's face.
Yuki; very identical to the image that she was shown, earlier. "IT'S HER! YUKI!"
With Yuki's introduction, and Doku trying to silence her, Rina laughed hysterically and pointed at the young man, having become privy to the context of their interaction not long ago. "None shall pass, Doku! NONE!" The Legold lass eventually found herself on her knees in her fit of laughter. After a few seconds, she realized that she wasn't being very respectful with the third person in the room, so she tried to dial the chuckles back as much as she could. "H'sor'h'ry...!"
Once the laughing fit was mostly out of the way..., "H'Sorry-sorry...! ...H'I'm Rina, by the way! ...Nice... h'nice t'meet the little sis he's been talkin' a lot about!"
Doku wasn't really sure what to do next, shit, Doku kept a hand on his sister's hand as he thought about what he needed to do. Soon, Doku decided to let her go, looking toward his sister, warning her to not try anything...
Doku and Yuki were both heavily amused but Rina's laughing fit. Doku was more embarrassed, while this was precisely what Yuki wanted! Doku sighed. "Damnit, Yuki..." He placed a hand on his forehead as he sighed towards his sister.
Yuki would let out another chuckle, "Oh Doku take a joke! Your friend here knows I'm only kidding, besides, if she's your friend she'll be able to understand it's a joke..." The purple-haired girl rolled her eyes at her brother, before giving Rina a soft smile.
Yuki then nodded her head, "Rina, Got it." She bowed introducing herself to the orange-haired girl. "Yuki but you knew that!" She shot Doku a quick look laughing. "Doku, you talk about me lots huh?" She placed her hands on her hips as she leaned closer. "That's so brotherly of yah~"
Doku nodded. "Rina is just a friend, we're playing this new game together." Yuki grabbed the box of the game, "Oh we played the second one together, didn't we? I was the cleric" She chuckled. "Let's dust it off and play next time you're staying over" Yuki's eyes sparkled, "I miss playing games with you"
Doku nodded. "Yeah, totally!" The purple-haired boy looked toward his sister once again. Yuki looked at Rina once again, "So. You're just gonna let Doku friendzone you like that? Man, that's cold!" She went back to what Doku said just a bit earlier. Doku just sighed, laying back on his bed, letting Rina and Yuki talk, since he clearly had no input on his sister.
