Axar stands roughly at 5'11", with a mess of purple hair on his head and a consistent tired expression on his face, as if he never gets enough sleep. He can often be found wearing whatever he finds most comfortable, usually resorting to things like sweat pants and hoodies which he finds around his dorm room. Most days the color's of these pieces of clothing are rather bland, as if he did not put any consideration into what he would be wearing that day and instead did what was easiest to pair with other colors, leading to a wardrobe predominantly made up of greyscale clothing. The same lack of effort can be seen in his hair, it never looks to be styled, rather it appears to always be going in the directions it wants to be. Axar is also typically seen having a bad posture, never really standing up to his full height unless the occasion calls for it.

DISLIKES:
- Overly bright lights or places - Dependence - Paper Straws
Axar is someone who often finds himself separated from most other people, but that's fine with him. He prefers to do things himself and cut off his reliance on others. He appears to be very lazy, but when pressured to do well he very easily is able to immerse himself in any situation in order to best perform among his peers.
Despite being surrounded by other students and sometimes appearing as odd, he gives little care as to what other people think or say about himself. Those comments have never influenced his decisions before, so he would never allow such things to detract from his own goals and desires which he has resolved himself to complete. He does, however, take a guilty pleasure in proving his detractors wrong. It is something that he takes great pride in.
While not necessarily appearing it from the outside, Axar is a hard worker when it comes to his academics. He will often excel in each of his classes despite appearing disorganized and messy. This comes from his own desire to be the best in everything he cares about, academics included.
When in conversation with Axar, he tends to give short, dull answers. This rule is, of course, broken when he finds himself in something that he is passionate about, such as dueling or debating. Emotions that he typically hides away are brought to the forefront during such intense and passionate moments, as his usually quiet voice is replaced by confident remarks and loud declarations.
HISTORY
Axar was born out of an affair between his father and another woman. Surprisingly, he was kept by the woman until he was born, but was eventually thrust upon his father after his birth. His father, wanting nothing to do with his bastard child, kept him incredibly distant from himself, his older sibling, and his wife, who miraculously didn't leave him after the incident, although she grew infinitely colder towards him, and most certainly treated Axar with disdain.
As he grew from infancy into the rest of his childhood, he remained distant from his immediate family, but did grow a relationship with his grandfather on his father's side. His grandfather, Simone Drogo, would often be the one that he went to whenever he needed someone to talk to or acknowledge his blossoming academic talents. This lead to him spending more and more time at his Grandfather's residence, until it was practically as if he lived there. This did not bother his immediate family, as they thought that they were better off without him anyway. While living with his grandfather, he noticed a strange deck of cards that was kept in a pristine case. His grandfather would tell him that the deck of cards before him was his own Duel Monsters deck. This brought on Axar's curiosity, and he requested that his grandfather teach him how to play Duel Monsters.
At the age of 8, Axar was a novice player in the Duel Monsters game, never seeming to be able to beat his grandfather's powerful mayakashi deck. He would try multiple different strategies, switching between different decks in order to try and find some way to beat it, but he never was able to. As the years passed, he never stuck with a single strategy as he thought that if his deck could not beat his grandfather's deck, it was a deck that was not worth playing. His grandfather watched him happily invest himself in the card game that he too loved. However, Simone felt that his time was coming to a close. Between his own compounding health issues and age, he knew that he needed to make peace with the rest of his family, especially Axar.
Soon, Axar's grandfather was bedridden. The entire family was gathered around his bed. He weakly called over Axar and told him that he would leave him his own Duel Monsters deck, as that was the deck that Axar knew best. Aside his deck, he had also placed enough money into a trust fund in order to send Axar to the best Duel Academy he knew of, Liberta.
After Axar's grandfather passed away, his family was eager to send him away to this school in order for him to get out of their life. While completing his middle school years, he would often go to the graveyard and talk to his now deceased grandfather's grave, exclaiming things such as how he should've been stronger and that he's sorry he was never able to finally beat him in a duel. In Axar's mind, there is only one thing he can do in order to make those things up to his grandfather, and that is to become the best there is.
Once he came of age, he took the entrance exam with his grandfather's mayakashi deck, and placed himself within B-Rank. He was upset with his placement, but was at least happy that he was able to join the academy at all. He joined the Silvolver dorm in order to pursue a professional career in Duel Monsters, and has since resolved himself to become strong.
