That Field Spell got the best of her. Accepting defeat, Rina smiled as she shook her head, disappointed that she lost another duel, but impressed by the means in which Doku won. "Yeah, you win." A handshake gesture was offered to her; she accepted.
"Yeah? Well, next time, I hope I'll do more than just have you on the ropes...!" as she gathered up her cards. "I'll need to be ready to deal with that Field Spell, though. I wasn't expecting to run into an effect like that.... Goes to show I need more experience. .... ---And Dyna Bases. If I had mine, I might've gotten past your effect."

"Well, when I get those new cards, something's gotta change, right?" As things stood, Rina realized that her felt weak. She didn't know how to describe it, but one could say it was a glass cannon type of deck without much power behind it. She was hoping that the new Volcanic cards would give her more staying power - but even if they could, it would still all come down to how well she builds the deck and how skillfully she duels - the latter of which was the more pressing issue in her mind....
After collecting her things, she got out of her seat and put her deck back in its box. .... The thought of keeping quiet came to her, but Rina remembered it was her own doing that a stipulation was put on the duel in the first place. But being around other people, she didn't want to say anything specific. Putting it as normally as possible, with a hint of a shrug of the shoulders and eyes, Rina said, "All said and done, ...guess I owe you, now, huh?"
What enthusiasm! He was excited to see their next duel! He was actually excited to see more of what Rina could do with her deck. "Well hey, sometimes we just don't draw what we need!" He explains, though... Doku shouldn't be one to talk, he literally did have a card that searched everything in his deck.
"But hey! When you get those new volcanic cards... we can have a rematch! I'm sure those will help your deck be more... explosive!" A bad pun, he'd laugh and watch her get her things together, Doku would quickly scoop his deck up and put it back in the box. He was going to sort everything back out, later.
"Owe me? For... what?" He was a bit confused. For the card? He wasn't sure.

When Doku spoke of the odds of the draw, Rina couldn't help but agree - while also wishing she could do better, still. She liked trying to build decks where anything that she draw can be made to do something. But in this moment, she felt... maybe that isn't enough - to just do something.... Or perhaps, maybe it was, and she just missed a detail in her designs. Thinking about the Field Spell, she thought about what she had in her deck that could have stopped it, but then she realized that even if she did, she would then not have enough cards to progress her turn well. She really needed to think things through on that front.
The redhead was then reminded again of the new cards. "I just hope I can pull that off.... I like trying to make decks that people can't predict, but it's gotten harder to do, lately. ...I really gotta think it through and work on how to set it all up." The new cards would make her want to theory-craft as soon as she gets back to her room - despite needing to do the work she mentioned a while back - but it also brought on a new thought. "I want to make a deck that can win, too, but... I don't want to make one that I can't even handle...." Her desire to craft her future deck was high, but her concern was how to go about it. Does she make it more cozy and suitable to her own playstyle, or does she build a version of it that would be praised by her peers, but beyond her means or willingness to play well?
.... It was during that internal struggle when Rina remembered the 'punishment' for the loser of the duel - mentioning to Doku that she owed him. When Doku didn't seem to remember it, she instinctively, and subtly, tried to jog his memory - though she was a little surprised that she needed to.
"...? The duel condition...? Did you already forget??" To be fair, Rina truly could have meant owing him for the Dyna Base card once he finds his, but that thought wasn't even going through her mind at this moment. With a sigh, "Now I wish I kept my mouth shut," saying it with minimal regret.

He was really just glad Rina enjoyed their little duel. He would fold his arm. "I'm sure you can Rina." He reassured her. "Hell, you had me on the ropes there~" He smiled. "Your burn deck really kicked my ass. If I was using my other deck, Aromage, you would of beat me!" He laughed, that much was true, he simply wouldn't be able to keep up his life points for his effects, so it was good he was playing Abyss Actors. With an exhale he packed up his things, putting his deckbox back into a small bag he brought out here.
"Oh!" Doku felt kinda dopey forgetting already! He sighed but then shook his head. "Oh. Sure! I'll make sure to buy something cheap next time we get lunch!" he would laugh. "Nothing expensive~" He would then walk towards the door. "Guess I'll see you around then huh?" He would wait to see if she had anything else she wanted, if she wanted to talk, he would stay and if not, he'd walk out of the card shop, and head back to his dorm.

"Maybe...," was Rina's reply to the idea of beating Aromages. She was being reassured - and it helped a little, but, as one would expect, she couldn't fully get into that accepting mindset. Defeating Aromages was a notion that would need testing out, one day. "I've been on quite the losing streak.... I wouldn't be surprised if Doku's other deck outperformed mine, too...." which left her, again, thinking on how to improve her deck further. Once she acquires the Dyna Bases she needs, that'll be one step in the right direction, but what about everything else...?
---------------------
"Okay," she breathed and smiled with relief. "As long as it's not expensive, I'll manage...." As long as he kept the value under the amount of 2 burger meals, she'd be okay, but she wasn't about to complain if he made it much less than that; more spending money, after all.
With that, Doku walked towards the entrance of the shop. He knew Rina had other things to attend to and assumedly didn't want to hold her back from that. They'd see each other in classes, anyway, so there was no immediate reason to prolong things for today. Rina raised her hand, half-mast, for a stationary goodbye gesture. As there were other people in relative close proximity to her, so opted to forgo one of her preferred gestures and phrases. "Yeah, I'll catch ya later! ---And 'thanks,' again!"
As Doku left, Rina looked back to ensure that she wasn't leaving anything behind. Once certain, she chose to depart, as well, with a few thoughts lingering on her mind. Though, she needed to cast them aside so that she could focus on her homework once she gets back to her dorm room.
