September through October 20X1 - Welcome, Class of 20X4!
The new school year at Liberta Duel Academy is here! Students - new and returning - are adjusting to their school life and getting themselves settled in. The entrance ceremony presented the principal's address, spoke of Dorm Rankings, and introduced the Student Council. Alongside the standard Master Duels, the experimental "Specialty Duels" were announced to those new to the academy. So unpack; duel a fellow or two; explore the academy and the city of Silvershine! Action; adventure; slice of life; it's up to you! How will you have yours unfold?
When not wearing his uniform, Jason Slade wears the majority of a proper suit. The only part he refuses to wear is a jacket and prefers to wear his green and silver tie even with the school uniform. He tends to have a relaxed smile on his lips when he's not particularly focusing on anything important. He keeps his blond hair tied back in a professional ponytail to keep it out of his grey eyes. From years of etiquette training, the young man does tend to walk with a straight back. However, he does keep his hands in his pockets to help slowly break himself from the lessons he learned.

Jason tends to be relaxed, whether it's simply reading a book or being on the losing side of a duel. He lets his passion for dueling shine through as he plays until the final card is played, even when he's on the verge of losing. Of course, he will get angry and confront bullies that are picking on those that they think are lesser than them. For Jason, it doesn't matter what rank others are at, he feels it's important to treat everyone with respect. That's when he challenges them to a duel and loses that relaxed and playful attitude.
HISTORY
Jason Slade, born and raised in Silvershine, had always dreamed of being accepted to Liberta Duel Academy. He had spent most of life testing decks, and seeing what felt right to him. He would pour over books and forums to see what could be useful and what fitted with his style. As he grew older, he enjoyed using the Main Deck as his method of bringing out big monsters and so he favored Ritual styles, but none felt right. It wasn't until he bought a pack called "Battle of Chaos" that he felt a connection with a particular ritual monster: Libromancer Doombroker. From there, he would take every chance to stop by some of the card shops and buy packs to get not only the Libromancers, but also some support for them and the Ritual mechanic in general. It wasn't until he turned 14 that he received the final card to make his deck complete: Emergency Teleport. That had been the final piece that he needed.
That had been his birthday gift and a show by his parents that they believed he was ready to apply for Liberta Duel Academy nearly a year ago. Now, he stood in his dorm room in House Legacy and let the memory of just barely eeking out a win against his proctor replay in his mind. If it hadn't been for him bringing out his Doombroker one last time, that would have been the end of his dueling career before it even began. Thankfully, the blond had been able to pass the written exam by a wide margin. It had been enough to consider him into the A-Rank rather than the B-Rank and have to wait for a full year to be promoted and then have to maintain his status for only two years rather than all three. As things stood, Jason felt confident that he would hold his rank and be able to prove that
