The new school year at Liberta Duel Academy is here! Students - new and returning - are adjusting to their school life and getting themselves settled in. Action; adventure; slice of life; it's up to you! How will you have yours unfold?
Rexi is a trendsetter through and through; she puts great pride in her outward appearance, from top to toe. Chocolate brown hair usually tied in a side ponytail, adorned with a cute ribbon or accessory pin. Stylish sunglasses covering vibrant purple eyes. Fingernails daubed in pink or purple, trimmed to perfection. Subtle fragrances of peony or hibiscus at her nape and wrists. Gold and platinum jewellery covers her fingers, her ears, and her neck. Pretty pinks or strawberry colours usually coat her lips. Brand named attire fills her closet, putting together the perfect mixture of cutesy and punk. Princess heels adorn stockinged feet when she's spending her time casually, heels adding a small measure of height to her slight stature. Even her uniform is personalised with little pieces here and there, from band pins to ribbons threaded through button holes.
TEMPER★AMENT!
Likes - Eating! - Fashion! - Stuffed animals!
Dislikes - Hard work! - Animal abuse! - ... not eating?
Whimsy is the name of Rexi's game, and she plays it exceedingly well. Approaching life with an attitude that is equal parts laziness and listlessness, she loves to live life to the full, but hates how much effort has to be put into the process. She has a deep-seated love for three things in life; food, clothes, and animals. A dreamer at heart, her grades suffer when it comes to anything that doesn't hold her interest, making her quite successful in home economics and needlecraft, but less than stellar in say, math, or the sciences.
What she may lack in intelligence is made up for by her compassion and love, as she is always, ALWAYS first on the scene if one of her friends is struggling or suffering. She may not have the smarts to know what to say to make everything better, but her shoulders, though small, will eagerly bear any burden put upon them in order to lessen the pain of others. And if that doesn't work... surely retail therapy will!
NARRA★TIVE!
Rexi was born to a well-off young couple in the heart of Silvershine itself. Her father was jobless, but had family ties that traced back through no fewer than four generations of 'old money', to the tune of a few million in stocks and bonds. Quite the stock market gamer, he was constantly seeing windfalls and successes here and there, building up quite the portfolio and ensuring that his family would want for nothing.
In contrast, Rexi's mother was a fashionista-cum-musician, nothing that made international waves, but certainly good enough to earn a strong paycheck. Rexi herself, though? She lacked much skill in either of her parents' careers, and not for a lack of trying. Sadly, she had a voice like scraping nails on chalkboard when it came to singing, and the dexterity to play instruments was far from easy for her to pick up.
Rexi's early education was one of homeschooling, which left her a little bit behind when it came to socialising with others her own age. She was 'different' to other kids; cut from a different cloth. So it made sense not to have her spending a lot of time around them, even if it stunted her growth somewhat. Though her education suffered nonetheless; her teachers often amounted to nothing more than being simple 'yes' men, willing to doctor her grades in order to ensure their own paychecks kept on flowing.
As she grew up, she discovered the passions that would stick with her the most. A bedroom filled to the ceiling with stuffed animals was great, but there was nothing quite like the real thing. At the age of twelve she finally managed to talk her parents into buying her a puppy to call her own; a chihuahua she lovingly named 'Pommy'. Though, she didn't so much take it for walks as she did simply carry it around in her handbag.
As well as that, she found a love of cooking, often spending her free time in the kitchen. Whether baking cakes or cooking up meals, she soon took on the role of the family chef; she had quite the knack for it, and it came easily to her. Plus, it counted as doing chores, which meant she had more time to spend on other fun stuff, like card games and shopping.
Eventually though, wanderlust struck the young lass. Specifically, after watching one too many school-based dramas, Rexi decided that she'd like to try going to a real school, herself. Fluttering her eyelashes, she soon managed to talk her parents into agreeing. Having actually walked past Liberta once or twice, that was the academy she had the most information on, and thus resolved to attend it once she came of age.
Now, fresh-faced and fancy-free, Rexi is ready to cause uproar and hilarity in equal measure.
