Javier is a responsible and studious person and has been throughout his life. He often takes care and looks after his friends, his brotherly tendencies making an appearance outside of his home. As a brother to 2 younger siblings, he tends to worry and obsess over small things from time to time, and often imagines the worst-case scenario to his choices. He often looks back and his choices with some level of regret if he thinks he didn't perform as well as he can; he sometimes doubts his own ability and scorns himself if he thought he could've done better. He tends to stay busy most of the time, not giving too much care to his appearance.

Javier speaks semi-formally most times, and acts seriously in most situations, leaving formalities behind only when talking to close friends and family. Javi tends to think before he speaks, being careful of how his words come out most of the time.
HISTORY
Javier was born to a French-American couple in America. At an early age, he was exposed to multiple creepy and weird-looking antiques at his parent's specialty shop, which they had opened right before Javi was born. Javi grew up in a house where money was somewhat tight, but he didn't let it bother him. He would typically try and not let things get to him, even at a young age. Most days once he started to attend school, instead of hanging out with his friends or trying to meet new people, he would immediately study and blaze through his homework before spending the rest of his day in admiration of his parent's wares.
Both of Javi's parents shared an intense interest in occult/"haunted" tales and fables. Unfortunately, most people in the area did not, leading in initially poor sales for their shop for a number of years. Because of this, Javi's parents sometimes struggled to make meets-end at times. After witnessing this, Javi decided he would dedicate himself to studying at school to hopefully attend a top-notch academy someday. He had no idea yet what he wanted to do, but he knew he wanted to do it well and make money.
Due to the financial situation at home, Javi didn't have many personal belongings outside of the necessary things, and had to learn to maintain the house on his own during the weekends while his parents were both out working. He learned to cook, clean, and wash after a while, and eventually started to enjoy it. He still had to balance out school and housework, which left him with free-time only during the weekdays to visit the shop. Seeing Javi's hard work, his parents decided to reward him. They couldn't go all out and buy him something incredibly expensive, but realized the perfect gift after giving it some thought. They gave him an antique doll from their shop for his 9th birthday. This particular doll having not been able to sell for years, and was only gathering dust in the storage. His parents were worried Javi wouldn't like it, seeing as it was really old, and particularly odd looking. Needless to say, he absolutely adored it. It was his first and only toy(-ish) thing ever, and he took great care of it each and everyday.
For the following years, Javier kept repeating the formula. On weekdays, he would go to school, study, and visit the shop; and on the weekends he would do housework and play with his own antique. This schedule continued with little variation, that is, until Javi received some special news. His mom was pregnant, and with twins no less. Javi was shocked hearing this, and mostly concerned over how this would affect him at first. He didn't want to have siblings, because he was worried they would wreck his life. He was still a child, so he didn't really understand what the situation fully entailed. Up until the day his mom left to the hospital for the birth, he was still against the idea, but never brought it up with his parents. Javi's dad and Javi himself stayed at the hospital for 3 days, and the entire time Javi was still extremely concerned. However, when him and his dad were invited to enter the room after his mom was done giving birth, all these ideas faded from his head. He was filled with a feeling of both extreme happiness and a level of disappointment, disappointment in himself for worrying about himself first without giving thought about his parents or the twins themselves. Javi stared at the 2 newborns in his mother's arms. Both brown haired and green-eyed babies with an adorable face. They cried and cried, and held hugged their mother tightly. 1 was a boy, and the other a girl. Before Javi and his dad left the room, Javi made a promise to himself. From here on out, he would become a brother that his whole family could be proud of. He wanted to be a great brother, to make-up for his initial reaction to hearing the news and originally not wanting any siblings.
Some time passed and his mother was able to return to the house with both the babies. Javi made it his mission to always be there for his siblings, so as soon as they arrived home he immediately got to work. He would help calm down the babies when they started to cry, fed them when they got hungry, taught them shapes and colors, and helped them learn the alphabet.
After some time started Javi started to accumulate stress, and lots of it. He still had to make time for studying, attending school, doing housework, and take care of his siblings every day. Even on the weekends, he had little free time. However, his saving grace was a game called duel monsters. He discovered a deck of unknown cards in a cabinet he wasn't able to reach before due to his height. When he opened the cabinet, those very cards caught his eyes. His heart was filled with excitement when he saw the cards. They were "Shaddolls", bearing an extreme resemblance to the dolls his parents sold. When he brought up the cards with his parents, they were surprised. They completely forgot they owned the cards, and decided it would be alright for Javi to keep those cards. From there, his love on antiques and creepy dolls only grew. Javi also noted that the fusion monster, "El Shaddoll Construct", was eerily similar to the doll he was given. During the day, if Javier ever felt stressed out, or started feeling anxious, he would shuffle and play around with his deck. He also found it incredibly fun to duel with others as both a test of strategy and as a form of entertainment. Javier wasn't the greatest duelist, but he sure did try to perform his best. He would often take into account what he could've done better, what worked, and focused on learning a little bit more about the game as he progressed.
Now, after a few more years of this routine, it was time to think about highschool. For Javier, it was a no-brainer to attend Liberta. It was a Kaiba sponsored school with a great curriculum, and cutting-edge tech available for students. He gained a love of dueling as well as creepy dolls, so why not combine the both into a career?
Yo'zas! And without further ado, let's get down to it!
Just a minor visual inconsistency where "Height" says 5'10", but the first descriptive sentence says he stands at 5'11" as a statement of fact. I dunno if you meant to say 'around 5'10" or 5'11"' or if you just forgot to fix one of them. If you could clarify/fix the slight discrepancy, that'd be great.
And~ that's it! Nice!
Once the height thing is fixed up, just send another #forum-request, or DM me directly, and I'll have it approved so you can begin roleplaying!
