A one-hour bus ride.
That's how long it took me to get here.

Through the streets of the city, up the large hill, and winding around the blanketing trees of a massive forest; I was kinda excited to start my academia days at this place. ...Kinda excited; kinda nervous.... I didn't know what things would be like at the academy. Are the teachers nice? What are the dorms like? Would I have a roommate? Will I have to deal with bullies again? All sorts of possibilities, scenarios, ran circles around my mind before finally coming face-to-face with what looked like a group of scholarly mansions.

"...!!~" I mean, I knew this was a prestigious academy, beforehand, but I was still floored when I saw the three buildings in front. Mouth agape in mild disbelief, "~~Hoooly cow...,~~" I murmured to myself as I scanned every inch of the school that I could see from my window seat on the transit. I could see other buildings further behind the first three; those were probably the student dorms, but who knows. There's a lot of exploration to be had, that's for sure.

Once the long bus rolled up into the half-circle entrance, in front of what was known as the academics building, it was time for everyone on the bus to gather their stuff and depart. I had a fanny pack on and my favorite backpack in my lap. With those on me, I took a deep, relaxing breath and got to my feet, waiting for everyone to file down towards the doors of the bus before suffixing myself to that line.

After stepping down onto solid ground, I swung my backpack over one shoulder and walked to the side, waiting for the driver to open to luggage compartment of the bus. Once I regained my wheeled, violet-colored suitcase and the driver gave us all his regards, I turned to the enormous building looming over me. It was a different feeling from staring at it from the bus window; I didn't know how to describe it.

".... .... ...---! Oh right." Unzipping by fanny pack, a folded pamphlet was retrieved. I unfolded and opened it to see the general layout of the area in map form. ".... So those buildings behind these ones really are the dorms. Okie-doke..., now where's the assembly supposed to be?" I reached for another item in my waist pouch: a sheet of folded paper. Opening it up, I read what it had to say, again, for the third time. Apparently, there's supposed to be an assembly in a few days - Monday to be exact. Today's only Friday, but I doesn't hurt to review in advance. It's supposed to be held in the 'Duel Stadium,' ...but honestly, I didn't see anything like a stadium when I was gazing, earlier. Using the map, however, I soon understood why I didn't see it. It seems the Duel Stadium is attached to the back of the building I was standing in front of. "So I'd have to either go through this building to get to it, or, take the long way around to get there directly... - though I guess the back entrance is more for getting there from the dorms. I guess that's good to know for the assembly."

I scanned the map, looking at the other areas. Past the dorms looks like an all-sports kinda place, and linking to every building is a massive courtyard behind the stadium, at the center of everything. Everything seemed so expansive, and for the next few days, I would find myself on a long journey of discovery around this place. "So this is Liberta Academy, huh? .... .... Well, first thing's first." I mumbled to myself before thinking the rest. "Gotta find my dorm room and unpack."
