Introduction

Since the start of our original website, "Crimson Wind Academy," back in 2008, we have been roleplaying in broad time frames and moving time forward, bit by bit, or, more recently, season by season. We'd begin in Autumn, Year 1; from there, we'd move to Winter, Spring, and then Summer, before beginning Year 2 in Autumn and repeating the cycle. The year number refers simply to the current school year since the beginning of our RP story. The year does not represent when the school was founded, nor does it represent the current year in the world. The current world year is meant to be ambiguous because of how often we tend to bend the world to fit the narrative. As such, there will be no mention of the actual world year (But if you must, treat Year 1 as 20X1-20X2; Year 2 as 20X2-20X3; etc.).

In this topic, you will find a general idea or a brief summary of events and activities that are currently going on in - or being planned for - the time frame given. You may also gain a bit of insight into a future time frame's events.
Though the time frame may say that it is Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter, you may, technically, roleplay in whatever season you please - so long as you explicitly state it in your thread and make sure not to muck up your own - or others' - personal timeline.
As IRL time goes on, descriptions of events may be updated, or plot points may be added. Generally, you'll be notified when anything significant is added here.

Current Time Frame:
Liberta Year 1 - Autumn (September through October)


With the hectic nature of the start of the year, most students - new and old, alike - will be scrambling around campus, getting themselves settled in, and showing others what they've got. New classes to take means new routes to memorize around the campus. New students will most likely be searching for their dorms, or learning where everything is situated, while returning students will be taking refuge in their all-too-familiar quarters or the courtyard - wherever they'd relax.

Students are already getting their duels in to raise their individual Duel Scores for the first Leaderboard Ranking of the school year! Some of them are getting a feel for the competition that this year will offer; some are looking to make a name for themselves through a winning streak or duels of dominance. Some, looking to showcase their beliefs through dueling; some who want to find themselves through their playstyles. Students of many shades will vie for the top spots.
Of course, this includes the malicious students who are trying to get others to quit the academy in an attempt to increase their dorm's presence - and its philosophy's standing against the others. Those taking issue with it may feel the urge to react in some way....
