Shinsei was left in shock as his life points were reduced to zero, his first loss. Rage built up in him as the holograms disappeared from the field, only able to look to the ground not wanting to be looked at. Not only did he lose the duel, but loss from his very own monster. A humiliating defeat for the stubborn duelist. His mind kept replaying the duel over and over again, in an attempt to figure out where he went wrong, how he slipped up or what could have been done differently. Shinsei could feel the judgmental eyes from the crowd on him as the plebs talked among themselves with words reaching Shinsei.



“I guess he’s not as good as thinks he is”



“ About time someone put him in their place”



“Man I’d hate to get beat by my own ace, what a joke”



Shinsei stared down his opponent with a death glare as he yelled out at him “This isn’t over! You got this!? Don’t get cocky cause you lucked out!” Shinsei turned his back to his opponent, picking up his belongings heading towards the main entrance refusing to give his opponent the final word. “By the way! What kind of dumb name is Allen?! NERD!” Shinsei remembered reading the name of his opponent on their homework, but didn’t really care to address it till now.



As Shinsei approached the gate he glared at a group of people talking about the duel as they all shut up from his intense rage forcing them to disperse and move away from him.
