September, a month of leaves changing colors, nice temperatures, beautiful days, and the valley girls buying pumpkin spice lattes and other various treats. Today, Aran was outside in the grand courtyard, braving the sounds of valley girls and the smell of pumpkin spice for two reasons....... It being Room inspection day was the main one. Not wanting to go through the awkward conversation of 'Where did you get all this jewelry? Did you steal it?!' that he figured would happen, he had packed up all the stones he had cut, along with the actual jewelry pieces he had made, stuffed them in his bag and went to the plaza to kill some time. The second reason coincides with the jewelry. He was using the table he had to sell the spare jewelry he didn't need to get more funds to continue his hobby of cutting the stones and making jewelry out of them.
While the actual pieces were.... Fairly basic, mostly being string necklaces with larger stones he had cut in basic metal frames to string them up, there were some bracelets as well that he had made. All in all, they were fairly run of the mill pieces, but they were of decent quality. He had already sold a few pieces at about $20 each, and already had made enough to cover the costs of the metal he used and the stones.
Standing up from his table, he figured he'd make a sales pitch. "Come one, come all! Aran's Gemporium is still open for business! Custom made-by-hand pieces, all for good, low prices!" He called out towards the student-ran drink stand, figuring that valley girls would be a good target to sell them to. However, his face had a light blush on it as he felt like he embarrassed himself, given the fact that he was quite aware of how bad his sales pitch was. 'God I need to get a better sales pitch!'
