About a fifth of the total guests that were at the party were inside the dorm, enjoying their time chatting, eating, and drinking. A number of them had entered the tournament and eventually found themselves bested and eliminated. While most went to watch the rest of the tournament, out back, the rest who were content simply enjoying a party went back inside. Some even chose to have duels in the lobby's wide expanse.

And as the outdoor tournament was nearing its end, in came a resident of the House of Legacy. His choice of attire caught many an eye. Of course it would; it wasn't fancy ballroom wear or an extravagant version of the school uniform, but it was a mostly-cloth armor-like costume.

"Talk about fashion-ably late. What's he wearing?"
"Did he think this was a costume party?"
"Was there another party, somewhere?

Nobody really understood why he came in the way he did, least of all, one student in particular who came back into the building for a snack.
Coming in as the final duel was about to start, Zephyr figured she had plenty of time to grab pretzels and water and make it back before the duel gets heated. Standing at the snack table, she watched the armor guy navigate through the crowds like the smallest fish of the school.
Curiosity surged through her and she couldn't help herself. The Silvolver student approached the armor man.

"Hey." A hand on her hip; "Are you lost...? What's with the getup?" Her confused but mildly antagonizing glare was directed at the male youth. She figured there had to be a reason for showing up looking like that, but nothing immediately came to mind.
